I had the same problem last week. What OS are you using? Seems like that module has a bunch of problems with dependencies on other OS than Debian, I've heard you would be able to compile in FreeBSD but you need to edit the Makefile and add the several libwwwxml libraries available. If you have the chance, try compiling it on a Debian, it's pretty straight forward in there. Hope this helps.
