When I enable SER to start at boot time it hangs my computer. I then need to restart the computer in interactive mode and prevent the SER from starting.
If I start SER after the computer boots, I never have a problem.
Anyone know what the problem is?
I am running the lastest RH9. and SER pre29.

Hello, take the latest stable CVS version (branch rel_0_8_11) and try again. For more info take a look at: http://www.iptel.org/ser/cvs/. The problem was reported before and we hopefully fixed it. Tell us if the problem persist with the latest version, too.
Best regards, Daniel

I'm running the same on a new RH9 machine in the lab, and it worked fine right out of the box. I used rpm to install using all defaults.
