when I try to configure ser for the administration of two different domains (with two instancesin two different ports), I obtain the following error: connect_db():Too many connections. db_init():Error while trying ot connect database
then signal 15 is received Could you tell me if that would be a problem of the mysql configuration, and if true, how can I solve it? Regards, Blanca

you need to increase mysql conf /etc/mysql/my.cnf the number of maximum connections: set-variable = max_connections=500

Recently I ran into the same problem: "Too many connections" after configuring the msilo Module.
IMHO over 100 connections is quite a lot... Why does SER need so many connections to the MySQL DB?
Could this be tuned also with some smart SER configuration instead of just increasing it in MySQL config?

decrease number of SER processes. in turn for that, expect that fewer processes will be easier to block. There are no known issues other than esthetical. Nevertheless, creating some pool of shared database connections may apper in future versions of SER.

my mysql server has 2048 connections configured so I think anything below 512 is not A LOT ... I think this is necessary because I think ser keep is connection to mysql opened all time, so if you add a module that use the db you have to increase the connection limit ... it make sense to me cheers
