Hi!
Can someone please describe the CVS tags/branches and their relation
with ser? What is the difference between MAIN and HEAD?

Hi Klaus,
for the moment there is the openser release 0.9.4 - cvs branch is rel_0_9_0
for the development version use the CVS HEAD (which is the same with
MAIN branch)
tag vstag marks the initial commit on the CVS and is not intended to be
used.

openser HEAD was snapshot of ser HEAD
