yes, it's correct! When I think about an embedded system, my idea is a small system with few hardware/software capabilities and in particular a stand alone system. Use Mysql server in an embedded system with for example 16/32Mbytes RAM, or a cpu with 66/100Mhz and a flash disk for me it's not a great idea.
