I also have this error when compiling. On which linux distribution you are installing it ? Did you find a solution ?
Btw, do you also have problems with presence and watcherinfo. These features are not working on my installation. I keep getting "t_uac: no socket found" and "Can't send watcherinfo notification" errors.
