sir when I start SER using "serctl start ser" command it showed following error message:
Starting SER : cat: /var/run/ser.pid: No such file or directory started pid()
Also there is no entry of ser in /etc/init.d
PLZ help me out.

First, send us LAST 10-20 lines of your /var/log/messages (it's a message log, where SER dumps errors, warnings, etc). There could be many reasons for SER's failure.
Also there is no entry of ser in /etc/init.d
PLZ help me out.
Not sure, if SER can generate a start up script during installation. You can make ur own ;-)

you should use "serctl start"
it showed following error message:

are you sure what you have permission to write into /var/run/ ?

take ser.init from "sip_router/rpm" and copy it out to /etc/init.d/
