Hi,

the X-Lite is a normal Sip Client .. for IMS registration you need an IMS client .. such as Boghe based upon doubango.

You are only able to use normal username/password register while using X-Lite

Hi Sainath,

just check the trace protocol and look at the REGISTER request sent by your Xlite-client. It uses the public identity “sip:bob%40net1.test@net1.test”. I don’t think that such a user has been provisioned in HSS.

The diameter UAA request (packet #436) also clearly says: AVP: DIAMETER_ERROR_USER_UNKNOWN.

Followed steps as suggested, Created new user in HSS to not to modified the existence.

Created new user with "1003" and given authentication algorithm as "Digest-MD5". Even i tried with authentication algorithm as "SIP Digest" but observed same error as below. Configured X-lite softfone and tried to register a user but getting error as "403 Forbidden - HSS Authentication Scheme Unsupported"

Please find the user creation details, X-lite configuration & traces.

Please suggest me for anymore changes has to be done.

Xlite client does not use the IMS-AKA based authentication but SIP digest. Therefore you must adapt the authentication for the user (bob) in HSS accordingly and set in the default authentication algorithm in the parameter-file scscf.cfg to "HSS-selected" (define REG_AUTH_DEFAULT_ALG "HSS-Selected").

Please look into the tracefile. The Diameter MAR in packet#18 contains AVP: SIP-Authentication-Scheme(608) l=28 f=VM- vnd=TGPP val=Digest-AKAv1-MD5 which leads to " HSS Authentication Scheme Unsupported", because HSS now expects to challenge with Digest-MD5.

That means that the S-CSCF still uses "AKAv1-MD5" as default authentication schema. You should change/enable REG_AUTH_DEFAULT_ALG "MD5" in scscf.cfg or - as a better alternative - use "HSS-Selected".

Then try again.

Hi,

Now I was trying to configure Hard phone same as SIP Client configurations to make a call between soft phone and hard phone. Configured everything on hard phone but have to Disable NAT.

Could you please help me, where to DISABLE NAT in configuration file.

NAT is handled by P-CSCF.

The are two switches in pcscf.cfg which must be set "off" as shown: ##!define WITH_NAT ##!define WITH_NATPING That's it.
