You've got to manually delete it. On my memory:
If your prefix is /usr/local
1. Delete /usr/local/etc/ser directory
2. Delete /usr/local/lib/ser directory
3. Delete /usr/local/sbin/ser file
4. Delete /usr/local/sbin/serctl file
Actually, you can just try to install a new one on top of the old one.
Should work too.
