Hello. Sorry for this stupid question. Can someone explain to me how the RPID parameter is used?. Can i use this parameter for other purposes ? Hope thank someone can help me. Thanks in advance.

Think of the RPID parameter as a way to cleanly pass caller-id information between SIP end-points without reliance on the From: header.
A practical application is where your users have alphanumeric usernames (ie. evan.borgstrom) but you would like a numeric field to show up in the caller-id number field of phones attached to ATA's.
