I have few issues on my list to fix for 4.1 before the full release, but I consider one week being enough time. Therefore I plan to release 4.1.0 next Wednesday, Dec 4, 2014.
If anyone would prefer a different plan, expose it on the mailing list for further discussions.

a quick reminder that v4.1.0 is scheduled for tomorrow. If there is any issue you are aware of and hasn't been addressed, then write to the mailing lists.

Hello,
just a note to say that backports to branch 4.1 should be done before 14:00GMT. After that, send an email to sr-dev before committing and wait a bit for answer, because building release might be ongoing, so we can avoid inconsistencies.

I will start building the release files soon. Once the announcement is out, there is no restriction on branch 4.1.
