Thanks, object files successfully created but ser command now found. Moreso, it prompted that i could use sudo apt-get install.
if i do so, there might be conflict i think. besides when i did sudo.... before now, it appeared the server was running but no call went through.
What could be wrong?

Hi there, installing and using ser require a basic understanding of the linux operating system, including how to install components, as well as build and install a software from sources. If you don't have that understanding, please do yourself a favor and read some introductions to linux first. g-)
