Hi,
I would like to integrate Skype into my Kamailio video system? Has anyone implemented this successfully before? Or suggest how this could be done?
Key features I would like are:
1. Must support Video
2. Ideally support H264 video codec
3. Share presence information
4. Ability to make calls in both directions
I would appreciate any information you could provide.
Thanks,

hummm... fail. Skype is a private and mostly unknown protocol so, for sure, you cannot "integrate" Skype into your Kamailio.
PS: Due to legal issues Skype will convert its protocol to SIP in a not so far future, but this is another history.
Thank you for your response.
I identified solutions like SiSky http://www.yeastar.com/Products/SiSkyEE.asp which apparently can connect Skype to a SIP PBX. I need to solution to support video and just want to know if anyone has tried anything like this before?
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Kamailio is a SIP proxy, it doesn't have to handle media (neither audio or video). So if you get a SIP2Skype gateway (which of course must manage signalling and media) you will get audio and video.
"General Lee,
Iñaki is right. You're barking up the wrong tree here. A SIP proxy has absolutely no relation to what you're looking to accomplish.

Thanks for you help guys.
Has anyone tried to implement a SIP to Skype gateway? Did you get it working?
