Hi everybody,
I'm new to this list and currently trying to get things working with ser. We have a ser server behind a cisco soho router (DSL) and I enabled udp and tcp on ports 5060, but clients outside cannot register with the server.
When I dialin with a vpn connection, registration is no problem.
Did anyone experience this problem? Isn't opening up 5060 enough or is the problem in host name resolution. I'm seeing some syslog entries with ser complaining that it cannot resolve 'dg' which isn't a hostname, but my username.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Is there a NAT between the Internet and the ser-server or does ser have a public IP?
regards, klaus

Hi,
I have one scenario in which SER sends multiple(1 or 2..) NOTIFY with one 200 OK in response to an INVITE req. IS it possible? We use sl_send_reply() to send many XXX replies but what to use if want to send NOTIFY???
I need this badly. Any pointer will help.

I used fifo command to initiate new NOTIFY from ser. Not sure if you can do it in the script...

I bet you could use it from the script, if you use one of the exec commands.

Hi,
I wrote a script to send NOTIFY from shell script. It uses t_uac_dlg() function.
I use exec_msg() cmd to call this script, but nothing happens....
On receipt of INVITE, I call this command.
exec_msg('./xxx.sh')
So how to send NOTIFY from server.
Can anybody tell whatz wrong I am doing.
Rgds- Vanita Jain
