Hello,
I am considering to release next major version of Kamailio (v4.3.0) next week, on Wednesday (June 10) or Thursday (June 11). The pool of things to fix is minor, Victor already updated deb packaging for 4.3, left to do: add docs for 4.3 series in wiki, prepare RPM packaging and build proper 'what is new' list of features.
Testing didn't reveal new issues for me in the recent past as I run in two servers with live traffic. If you have issues with 4.3 branch, be sure you report them on Github tracker:
Cheers, Daniel
Hello,
short note to remind about upcoming release of Kamailio v4.3.0 -- I am planning to get it out tomorrow, pretty much everything is prepared for it and not major issues were reported lately.
Cheers, Daniel

this is probably not a major issue, but it sure looks ugly. some do say that compiler optimizations may actually break the code. i was not able to figure out a fix.

That is rather old code, before 2008, inherited from SER, related to those custom config parameters that can be set during runtime. I looked once at them, but could get to a decision on how to fix it, because it is relying a lot on defines -- I would need more time and a system which throws those errors, my versions of gcc are not showing them.

Hello,
the release will be out later today -- write to sr-dev if new commits are wanted into branch 4.3, do not push them directly before the announcement of the release is sent.
Cheers, Daniel
