I need some help and guidance here as I am fairly new to openser but have made some progress....
Can some one throw some light on this issue. I am using a standard openser script from sipwise.com. I have several ATA or UAC registered with openser-1.1.1-tls. THe registration process works just fine. I can make calls etc. no issues. I am using Mediaproxy for nat traversal and no issues there too.
Since I am using the internet (not private LAN) to connect these devices, I have set my register expiration time to 1200 seconds.
Now after a few hours of operation, I see that some of the ATA or UAC (HT486) deregister. I have used "ngrep" and I can see:
1. UAC sends REGISTER request 2. openser responds by saying "100" "Trying" 2. Openser generates a 401 unauthorized 3. UAC once again generates REGISTER request
and this goes on. The only way to correct this issue is to reboot the ATA by powering it off and on. Any ideas why this may happen?
When I run the same devices using Asterisk I dont see the devices deregister but I would like to use Asterisk only a PSTN gateway.
I have included a trace of this below
Thanks in advance
Raju

After this the register with same cseq shows up and the device does not register....
