Hi
When ever MySQL Server (5.0.24a) on a remote machine is restarted, SER can't reconnect to the MySQL server. I see this problem has occurred before via mailing list: ERROR message : MySQL server has gone away (http://lists.iptel.org/pipermail/serusers/2006-April/027961.html)
I am running debian package of SER 0.9.6-2 (ser-mysql-module 0.9.6-2) and MySQL Client 5.0.32 . I have tested that the MySQL client reconnects after server has been restarted. Is there something I'm missing that I'm still getting this problem ?
