modparam("usrloc", "db_mode", 1) means text-mode
what you need is *modparam("usrloc", "db_mode", 2)* **

Yes I did enable the mysql module. I enabled
loadmodule "/usr/local/lib/ser/modules/mysql.so" in ser.cfg. Then I changed
modparam("usrloc", "db_mode", 1)
and I added
lookup("aliases");
I don't have to restart ser to lose the aliases. It disappeares without restarting SER after a couple of seconds :(

Does it really add alias to mysql alias table or you still have not enabled mysql module (inside ser.cfg )? If you did not, then your aliases will be lost everytime you restart SER.

Hi all...
I'm new to SER.
I installed SER 0.8.2 and ser-mysql and i'm trying to add an alias to
a
user
using serctl. It shows the 200OK message and it also adds the alias
into
the
mysql alias table. The problem is that after short time, the alias
table
is
empty and I can't call the user using the alias.
I need to add the alias to call a softphone from a hardphone.
Do you have any idea? Thanx...
