Hello
well, about US$4K per T1 line isn't exactly a cheap option so,
besides soekris box with sangoma card (about US$650) plus asterisk,
are there any other "pocket friendly" alternatives for T1/E1 & SIP
that anyone can recommend?

btw: We are using the Smartnode 1200 and it works fine. (Much better
than the replaced Vegastream box).
And of course we are using asterisk.
