Looks like you forward the REGISTER back to the UA. SER should send a: SIP/2.0 401 Unauthorized with digest info and then the REGISTER should be sent again with credentials. I suggest you post your REGISTER handling from ser.cfg. g-)

i'm not 100% sure that i've set up the entry in the database corrently, but surely it should simply refuse connection to the phone rather than just dieing. Many thanks, Damian
