Not sure if it's the case, but even with MySQL running, I already saw
such kind of error in OpenSUSE...
It was do a different configuration/location of the mysql.sock file.
Take a look in your /etc/my.cnf file and confirm the right location of
the mysql.sock file.

DBENGINE=MYSQL. Now when I run /usr/local/kamailio-3.1/sbin/kamdbctl
create I have ERROR 2002.
