yes, the loose_route() function can be also used on out of dialog requests, as described
in the documentation:
https://kamailio.org/docs/modules/5.5.x/modules/rr.html#rr.f.loose_route
It will work as described in RFC 3261, Section 16.12 (like forwarding it to the Route
headers if not indicating the local proxy), yes.

Header remaining (if any) after Kamailio has stripped off it's own Address(es) from
