Are you sure spandsp has also t38 support ?
I use hyfalax for faxmail support.

No, i ve just patched chan_sip.c
Asterisk forward faxes to a hylafax server .
Have you patched chan_sip.c ?
I use ser+rtpproxy as an outbound proxy .
the last development version of spandsp also has
t.38 support. Maybe better
way to use spandsp, and don't send to hylafax ?
