Thanks Daniel,
This morning I tried installing Kamailio 3.1.4 and SMTPstats using the CentOS rpm's from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/kamailio:/telephony/CentOS_C... - our production Kamailio servers were installed this way, but I still have the same issue.
It looks like it may be a problem with CentOS, any idea?
googling, I found that host_ctl symbol comes with libwrap, thus I guess the module has to be linked against it on centos. In the faq of exim:
http://wiki.exim.org/FAQ/Building_and_Installing/Q0103
To try it, you will have to recompile the module (installing from sources or building the rpms), edit first modules_k/snmpstats/Makefile and add -lwrap to LIBS variable.

Hello,
I am having difficulty running the snmpstats module. We are running CentOS 5.6 and Kamailio version 3.1.1 (i386/linux). I've tried a fresh install of Kamailio, installing net-snmp from source but I can't seem to get it running -- I've seen a couple of posts regarding the issue but nothing seems to work for us!!
you have to use at least 3.1.2 iirc - I did some fixes after 3.1.1 in this branch -- of course, the best is to run the latest stable version 3.1.4 or the git branch 3.1.
At the time I did those fixes, I worked with this module on ubuntu and snmpwalk worked fine to pull the stats.
Cheers, Daniel
The issue I get when I start Kamailio is:
0(27523) ERROR: <core> [sr_module.c:523]: ERROR: load_module: could not open module </usr/local/lib/kamailio/modules_k/snmpstats.so>: /usr/lib/libnetsnmpagent.so.10: undefined symbol: hosts_ctl
Any help would be much appreciated. Also, if anyone has any suggestions on how best to get either Solarwinds or PRTG to monitor our Kamailio servers that would be good.
Thanks.
