This worked a charm... Status is now active, I've not yet verified if
presence information is exchanged between my various clients though.

Subject: Re: [Users] PRESENCE event types?
Hello,
You probably have not emptied database before running
presence with force_active= 1. If finds a record in the
table, the module takes the for the subscription from there,
it beeing the previous one, and then queries xcap_xml table
for eventual changes.
please dump the table before running openser again.
I will best make a change in the code, taking this scenario
into consideration and updating the watchers table if
force_active is set to
1 and prevoius record is with state pending.
Best regards,

I'm trying to get eyebeam/x-lite to exchange
presence status with
Gaim's SIMPLE function.
Using "force_active=1" allows me to see the status of the Gaim
account, I still get requests that I have to answer to from Gaim
about it seeing my status. And the Gaim never does.
Even with Force Active on, status is still pending in the watchers
table.
force_active=1 does not change the "pending" to "active", but
"pending" is treated like "active".

Is this
the cause of Gaim not seeing the info from eyebeam/x-lite?
And if so, what is broken? Gaim, OpenSER or eyebeam?!
presence.winfo (watcherinfo) is used if a client wants to
know who has
SUBSCRIBed its presence.
