I When I set forking to "no", I cannot get SER to start using "service
ser start".
The no forking mode is only for debugging. It will start only one udp
receiver process and ser won't detach from the foreground (so probably
that's why your init.d script is not working).
If you are not debugging your ser or ser.cfg don't use it.
