I understand the concept you're suggesting, but I still don't know very well how to implement that. I guess you're saying to add in grp table one group named for example "helpdesk" and than add to that group users. But what should be edited in ser.cfg to make SER implement that? any ideas? Have you done this already before?
Thanks,
Ricardo.

For this to work, I would suggest to go with the forking feature.
Create a group with all users from same group and, when a call arrives, create a fork. The first gets the call...

The idea is really that. I want do be able to call one extension and ring on many phones, each registered to a different user, to be able to implementing like a help desk or something... Is it possible in SER?
Thanks
Ricardo.

If you gave the same alias to multiple subscribers, that's a bit like
giving
the same username to multiple subscribers, or even having the same URL
for
multiple websites. How would the computer know whether someone trying to contact ALIAS is trying to contact USER-A or USER-B ?

Hi,
Is it possible to give same alias to different subscribers? Trying to add same alias in serctl isn't well succeeded because it says that that alias is already in use by other user. Is it any other way to do it?
