as it is now, does not change, the name of the
variable is the name of
the route, not the value of the variable.

i still don't understand, but no matter what, there is a bug, because
the route "test" was not executed and no error was produced. i opened a
ticket on it.
based on what you say, looks i need to open also a feature request
regarding pv argument support for route() function call.
