I have installed ser v 0.8.12 on RedHat 9 and it seems to be working

make sems not able to run completely, or is there only a problem with
one or 2 components. I only need it to support conferencing - I don't
need the other plugins.
it might by some problems, but I guess you should just compile and run
it to see if everything is ok.
