Confirm recompile on machine resolved this issue per your suggestion
(At least once I persuaded make to build mysql...)

You have two options:
1) Install a package that provides libmysqlclient.so.10
2) Recompile SER on this machine and it should produce mysql.so
using libmysqlclient.so.12
