Yesterday I reviewed the source code. There are two different concepts. The biggest problem is the different namings (BLA, SLA, BLF, ...) which are used for all kind of concepts.
BLA (ala Polycom): draft-anil-sipping-bla-03.txt Event: dialog;sla Content-Type: application/dialog-info+xml
Dialog Event Package (ala SNOM, Linksys): RFC 4235 Event: dialog Content-Type: application/dialog-info+xml
pua_bla implements BLA.
Yesterday I discussed this on devel- with Juha. I came to the conclusion that we would could implement RFC 4235 using 2 new modules: - pua_dialoginfo: registers callbacks from dialog module and triggers PUBLISH - presence_dialoginfo: registers the Event: dialog in presence module

Hello, thanks for your answer
I read that too, but somebody did say that it worked for them ( Steven C. Blair ) so maybe they did something to make it work and maybe they would like to tell us how they did it :)
Thanks

Hello
I am trying to make some phones work with BLF using Kamailio and I found an older messge ( http://lists.kamailio.net/pipermail/users/2007-October/013700.html) saying that I could do this using BLA.
As you can read in the last mail in that thread: http://lists.kamailio.net/pipermail/users/2007-October/013706.html
how can be both BLA and BLF basically the same?
In BLA is needed a subscriber-phone sending a REGISTER with "To:other-user", a SUBSCRIBE from "other-user" and from "subscriber-phone"... while in BLF is just needed a SUBSCRIBE "To: other-user" with "Event: dialog".
So I'm prety sure that BLF and BLA have nothing in common.
