Hi, value of this parameter can be everything, because it is ignored (CVS version). Add modparam("rls", "xcap_root", "http://localhost/xcap") into your config file.

Warning - the presence handbook on ftp://ftp/iptel.org/pub/ser/presence/... describes NOT CVS version but presence snapshot v. 4 which can be downloaded from the FTP too! Module parameters are different and new XCAP module was added.
