then you can make asterisk to update periodically a table with a date,
and if one asterisk box did the update older than 60sec (or what so
ever), then do not use it.

Well, then perhaps you need to use another solution, or adapt the
dispatcher
code to your needs. May i ask what is the problem with existing algorithms?
