Maybe the only solution is using a B2BUA for
accounting that only performs an
UPDATE action when receiving a BYE if the dialog really exist?
in a similar way you could force Re-Invites every xxx seconds and do accounting
based on SIP, depending on how
much traffic your are going to be working with.
