Hi, I'm trying to enabe the module pua_usrloc in OpenSer 1.2.1 but I can't since I get an error: set_mod_param_regex: parameter <db_url> not found in module <pua_usrloc> Of course, I have loaded the modules: loadmodule "pua.so" loadmodule "pua_usrloc.so" I see no "db_url" parameter for pua_usrloc module in the doc: http://www.openser.org/docs/modules/1.2.x/pua_usrloc.html but I do see it in the pua module, so I set: modparam("pua", "db_url", "mysql://openser:openserrw@localhost/openser") but I get the same error: <db_url> not found in module <pua_usrloc> So I've tryed to add: modparam("pua_usrloc", "db_url", "mysql://openser:openserrw@localhost/openser") with exactly same problem. Hello I am running version 0.9.6 and have a situation where I want to change the remote-party-id of a forwarded call so that when the call reach the destination the forwarding users number is avertised. It is necessary to change it becaus if I dont change this header the first number of the trunk is shown, which almost everytime is another customer than the forwarder. I have experimented with avpops and subst but can not get the avp part to translate into the value in the resulting string. This is the code I am using for unconditional forwarding if (avp_db_load("$ruri/username", "s:cfwd")) { setflag(22); revert_uri(); avp_write("$ruri/username","s:calledno"); subst('/^Remote-Party-ID:(.*)>(.*)$/Remote-Party-ID: "$avp(calledno)" <sip:$avp(calledno)>\2/i'); avp_delete("s:calledno"); avp_pushto("$ruri/username", "s:cfwd"); prefix("01"); #use interface 1 on Vegastream Gate route(5); route(4); break; }; The resulting header looks like this: Remote-Party-ID: "$avp(rpid)" <sip:$avp(rpid)>;party=calling;screen=no;privacy=off. Hi all, I'm working on a SIP client, I'm implementing SIMPLE but during my tests I encounter a very strange behavior with the iptel.org server. When I send a SUBSCRIBE message with an Expires value of 0 I receive a 407 / Authentication needed, I handle the challenge correctly (I've checked, the response value is correct) but I receive a new 407 message with the same challenge ! It continues again and again and I'm never able to authenticate. What is the problem ? I can join a dump if needed. Cheers, Ben

It's working for me for OpenSER authentification/acc through freeradius! Hello, Actually it does not look like a ser problem but I could not find a way out so I am asking your help. Hi We are facing problem using the authentication module of SER. First we enabled the database to mysql and set the db_mode in userloc to 2. Then we added a user through the serctl add <username> <password> <emailid> Now, in the config file , we load the auth moduel and the auth_db module, and try to authorize the REGISTER attempts using www_authorize() procedure. But every time we are returned a message that Authorisation failed. However if we remove teh authorisation functionality from the config file, the subscriber is shown in the location table of ser database. Hi. I am new to SER. I am trying to update the Route header. In order to do this, I need to check the value of, for example, the first route entry, and push new routes. Can someone give me some pointers about how to do this? In general, how can I check the value of a header field. I am using fedora core 4 I just did a yum install to install the ser as well as the ser-mysql and mysql packages. I am starting ser and I am getting this error 0(0) Default allow file (/etc/ser/permissions.allow) not found => empty rule set 0(0) Default deny file (/etc/ser/permissions.deny) not found => empty rule set I am able to start ser and do a monitor of the ser system. when I try to register a UA I get a 408 forbidden message. I started mysql and tried to look at the user table. This table does not exist Can any one help. the file

Hi, I can't compile SER HEAD. I get the errors below. How can this be fixed? Not sure. Hello, I have this piece of code in my openser.cfg : exec_msg("/usr/local/etc/openser/uri-folder/record '$fu' $$SIP_USER '$ft' 'additionalinfo'"); The instruction 'record' is a c program. This is supposed to add a record in a mysql database - new incoming call, from caller , to called, date, and an additional info - and as the matter of fact it almost does except that 'record' is unable to append the date. It writes '0000-00-00'. The strange thing is that when the 'record' instruction is being called from the console, the set of instructions being manually written : record 'joe@....' etc ... it records everything including the right date and time. Regards, I have a debian (etch - kernel 2.6.18) server with openser 1.1.0-9-etch1installed and Asterisk 1.4.6. To admin openser, I'm using openseradmin 0.3 and Asterisk-GUI (Rev. 1203) to admin Asterisk. Openser service works fine to make calls between users (Linksys phones, ATA phones, Sipura phones, etc.) and I installed Asterisk to use VoiceMail, Call Queues, Conferencing, Voice Menus, Calls redirections and PSTN GW functions. NOTE: I can hear only Asterisk VoiceMail, but I'm still working to openser-asterisk integration. For me, who I am a new Linux user, It's hard but not impossible. I want to configure call restrictions between openser VoIP groups at the same domain. For example: I have an IP Network with clients who has remote offices. I'm using openser to connect their offices. Now, I want to use groups to resctric calls between clients. I want to know what's the best solution to do calls restrictions between groups. I must use AVPops, Groups, Asterisk modules, etc ?????? Can anybody help me? PD: I'm sorry for my spanglish. Thanks
