[Users] AVPops: inconsistent usage of DB scheme

Hi, regarding my previous E-mail I suppose that it might be an indexes problem in the table structure. I have defined both columns "auth_user" and "id" as primary keys because I want to associate up to 4 AVPs to an "auth_user" with different "id"s. But when I insert a second (different) "id" to the same "auth-user" into the table I get a mysql-error #1062 - Duplicate entry for key 1. Therefore I will now clarify the right way of defining primary keys :-) . regards Franz

[Serusers] serctl domain module

I have problems with serctl domain add (show) functions. Script inserts domain into mysql table, but I'm getting the following errors: 500 command 'domain_dump' not available 500 command 'domain_reload' not available Do you have solution for that? Regards, Mindaugas

Hi All, Thanks Adam for providing the link. But as mentioned by zhangshuai, I am also getting the same error after doing those procedures. Error messages are pasted below: stateless - initializing 0(0) Maxfwd module- initializing textops - initializing root@ubuntu:/usr/local/sbin # 0(0) register_udomain(): Invalid table version (use ser_mysql.sh reinstall) 0(0) domain_fixup(): Error while registering domain ERROR: error -1 while trying to fix configuration It will be great somebody gives some pointer to resolve this issue. [Serusers] Ser: still no voice outside my LAN with ser and rtpProxy

Hi, I've tried a lot of examples and config. files but still I can't hear any voice when a call is enstablished between users (Nat) outside the Lan where ser in installed (local pc IP 10.0.0.133; LAn router Public IP 80.105.2.110). Tried also from one user outside behind Nat and one in my Lan . I've enclosed trace.log with this case. I've forwarded every ports I think that are needed to 10.0.0.133 (ports 5060 ; udp from 5060 - 5070; 35000 to 35020 ). I've recompiled rtpproxy to use the range of ports 35000-35020. I've also tried the config file from onsip.org for rtpproxy and the one for mediaproxy (with mediaproxy instead of rtpproxy). Whit that config file I've also problems enstablishing the call from outside to inside the Lan. With the ser.cfg that is attached here I can enstablish tha call but no voice (but I can see that 3cx Phone reports packets to be transmitted from both the clients but no packets are received on them). Can someone help me? [Users] Mediaproxy and psyco

[Serusers] serweb-0.9.4 and mysql-5.0.18-2.1

I have installed serweb. But it can't work fine. When I open user register page and fill into the registration form and then click regist button, it has no response. Is it the problem of serweb accessing to mysql? Can serweb use mysql-5.0? Thanks, Jason

I tried that configuration. I get no errors but also no radius packet is created/sent. after setting the flag by "setflag()" command , do I have to enter another command to send the accounting packet for that marked message ? [Users] multiple domain best practices?

I'm unclear on how multiple domains should be handled in sip/openser, etc. The scope of my confusion may be broader than just with openser, and this is more of a "concept" problem, but I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. I've read the "domain" module documentation at openser.org. I'm using a Linksys SPA942 IP phone for this experiment with my openser 1.0.1 server. The SPA942 appears to do the following: a) sends "sip:$PROXY" for the REGISTER request-uri. Here $PROXY is the actual entry typed in by the user, as opposed to something looked up by using DNS SRV. b) appends "@$PROXY" to the "User ID:" entry in the "From:" field and appends @IP:PORT for "Contact:" That is, as the person who configures the phone, I can view the proxy setting as declaring the domain of the user. But it seems more natural to me to put the actual host name of the proxy in that setting. That is, if I run a service on sip.foo.net and have customers in domains bif.net and baz.net then each of them listing sip.foo.net as their sip proxy is reasonable. But, if I go that route, then it seems the only way for the user to send the sip server their domain is as part of the userID: john(a)baz.net and if they do that then I get "From:" fields like john@baz.net@sip.foo.net, and similar "Contact:" settings. Now, I can strip off the trailing domain but the clumsiness of that uri (sip:john@baz.net@sip.foo.net) gives me the feeling that this is the wrong approach. Looking at the "Contact:" pretty much convinces me of this: sip:john@baz.net@192.168.168.214:5060 But that takes me back to using the Proxy field as dual-duty: specifying the proxy and also the user's domain. I just looked at a cisco 7905 and it too does not appear to have a way to set the user domain. I can see how I could use unique AuthIDs to look up domains at registration time, but that seems misguided too. What am I missing? Thanks, -mark
