Hi, everybody... Just to let the list know that there are 4 new links on the main page of the OpenSER Dokuwiki (http://openser.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=start). Each one points to Index Pages: - Parameters Index (http://openser.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=index_of_openser_1.0.x_parameters); - Functions Index (http://openser.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=index_of_openser_1.0.x_functions); - Examples Index (http://openser.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=index_of_openser_1.0.x_examples); and - FIFO Commands Index (http://openser.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=index_of_openser_1.0.x_fifo_command s). All entries point to the original Module's README (where the parm/function, etc was mentioned/defined). So You will find many repeated entries, but this is intentional, since many modules use/export the same parameter/function names. Hi all, I'm trying to get openser to act as an SBC using the mediaproxy module and the rtpproxy (built from the cvs). openser is configured to run in a multihomed mode. I'm starting rtpproxy in debug mode: rtpproxy -f -l 10.110.1.174/10.111.5.15 The rtpproxy is binding to both IPs. When an INVITE is received on the 10.110 interface, I call force_rtp_proxy(). Regrdless of the "i" or "e" parameter that I pass to the force_rtp_proxy(), the rtpproxy is replying with the same IP. output from rtpproxy if force_rtp_proxy("i"): received command "UI 4a2fabe1-24c7fe03(a)10.110.50.4 10.110.48.7 10046 60e4ff4a-soma;1" new session 4a2fabe1-24c7fe03(a)10.110.50.4, tag 60e4ff4a-soma;1 requested, type strong new session on a port 35000 created, tag 60e4ff4a-soma;1 pre-filling caller's address with 10.110.48.7:10046 sending reply "35000 10.110.1.174 " output from rtpproxy if force_rtp_proxy("e"): received command "UE 44709fe7-423307f6(a)10.110.49.134 10.110.48.7 10012 1f713156-soma;1" new session 44709fe7-423307f6(a)10.110.49.134, tag 1f713156-soma;1 requested, type strong new session on a port 35002 created, tag 1f713156-soma;1 pre-filling caller's address with 10.110.48.7:10012 sending reply "35002 10.110.1.174 " The IP address sent out in the outgoing INVITE is 10.110.1.174 instead of 10.111.5.15. Hi, I need to modify From field of INVITE messages. Is that possible ? How ? The username is too long because of some database issues; but the outgoing caller id (from uri) should be last 8 digits of the username. How can I do that ? Hi all I have downloaded from openser and iam trying to integrate voice mail with asterisk I have read all the docs in the document site after config, and people recomendation iam able to run the openser successfully and able to fix the problem calling out side but when the local user not available, iam sending to asterisk voice mail and i get error SIP/2.0 484 Address Incomplete in my x-lite client any suggestions ram

Hi, Check library (.so files) paths in ser.cfg file and if not correct, give the correct path for each library. Then run ser again, it will definitely work. [Serusers] novice issue

Hi all Just started using ser but i am stuck at the first step itself i downloaded ser-0.9.6_linux_i386.tar untared it , set the cfg file and modules in correct path as per cfg file and ran ./ser from the sbin directory and it says ERROR in cfg file ( 24 errors) if i comment out the loadmodule statements on the cfg files then the errors reduce but inspite of verifying the correct path several times its not getting through. That means its reading the cfg file correctly but not loading the modules or not able to interpret loadmodule command maybe Please help me thanks in advance Shyam
