[Users] TLS : Please help for TLS concept

Dear all, Thank you very much for all your time to read this message. All, I now have problem with TLS security concept. I have tried to read the tutorial (tls.html) from www.openser.org. I have read it many times. But, I still confused to undestand it. Would you mind help me, Please? Here are my questions: 1. How can we evidence that the communication that using TLS is secure communication? (Real proof) 2. When using TLS, how can we know that the communication has been eavesdropped? 3. Is TLS just use port 5061? If yes? How can TLS can protect the communication from sniffer who knows TLS using port 5061? 4. What kind of type encryption that TLS use? 5. What sofware that we can use to test for making a call in opeser with TLS support? I have tried minisip, but I always get error message..Please... [Serusers] SER MySQL Support

Hello everybody! I want to use the mySQL-support for SER but I've got a problem: When I start SER I get the following error DrScheme@dell:/usr/local/etc/ser> /usr/local/sbin/ser 0(7443) ERROR: load_module: could not open module </usr/local/lib/ser/modules/mysql.so>: libmysqlclient.so.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory 0(7443) parse error (18,13-14): failed to load module ERROR: bad config file (1 errors) When I get this right, the libmysqlclient.so-file is missing. I looked for the file and indeed, it's not on the box. I don't know where to get that file from and where to put it, when I have it. Could please someone tell me? Incase you need to know what I did up to now: - I installed mySQL (4.1.13-3) using YaST on my Suse 10.0 box. [Users] What to do when the ip address of the phone changes?

When a phone registers it has an expire time of 3600 sec. The user just turned off the phone and plugged it into another network. The server does not let register anymore, since it is already registered. Need to wait 1300 seconds for next register. Is there a way (openserctl xxxxxx) to release the phone ? I don't want to remove the phone from the database!!! bye Ronald

Hi all I have implemented the load balance in mode statefull, I obtained the next messages: phone1 dispatcher sipserver phone2 --------INVITE--------> ----INVITE-----------> ----INVITE--------> <----100 TRYING---- <---100 TRYING---- <---100 TRYING---- <----180 RINGING-- <---180 RINGING--- <---180 RINGING--- <----200 OK---------- <----- 200 OK-------- <---200 OK-------- -------- ACK --------> --------- ACK --------> You can see that the sipserver never sends ACK message to video_phone2. [Users] How to get debug print out?

Hi folks, I setup "debug=7" in openser.cfg, however I still cannot get any detail debug print out in /var/log/messages. Here is how I launch the openser: openserctl start There is a logic errors in openser.cfg and I try to trace down the call step by step, how can I do it? Thanks for your time to read my question, I am really appreciated on it. Steve

hi all today i have install ser on my Linux machine Linux bishthost.bisht 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4 #1 Thu Jun 2 22:55:56 EDT 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux and its install everthing is ok and i found two file in /usr/local/etc/ser dictionary.ser ser.cfg please tell me can i start change in ser.cfg or take backup of this file and start working on mail ser.cfg and how can i used hello word ser.cfg file just start copy paste what can i do please guide me, which is best for me thanks vijay --------------------------------- All-new Yahoo! Hi, This is probably a simply question for some of you, but is there a way to get openser to display the Caller-ID (telephone number) to the calling party's phone display screen, rather than displaying Annonymous? If so, how would I be able to do this?
