Tracking ITSP Trunk Utilization

Greetings, I have a challenge which I can't imagine is unique to my situation. I have agreements with multiple ITSP/SIP providers for inbound and outbound use cases. I am trying to figure out a way to track and monitor - on a per trunk basis - statistics about open dialogs. In the end, I would like to have nice graphs that show my usage throughout the day... and most importantly, my max open dialogs so I can determine if I am coming close to my max sessions with any particular carrier. Does anyone know of a tool which could help me track this? It looks like Kamailio has some SNMP modules, perhaps SNMP + Cacti might be the common solution? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

t_on_failure to named failure route

I'm attempting to run an existing SER config file under a recent build of sip-router. I get a syntax error on the t_on_failure("noroute") call that exists in my config file. The specific error is "bad expression: type mismatch (str instead of int)". I presume this means sip-router does not support named failure route labels. Is that correct? Functions to parse URI parameters

Hey Guys, Is there any module/function to parse and assign to AVPs parameters from RPID? (in kamailio 1.5.3) I'm using $(hdr(Remote-Party-ID){tobody.params}) to get the parameters but maybe there's something already implemented to get privacy, screen, etc. I'll be using this with P-Asserted-Identity as well. kamailio dialplan

Hi there, I am pretty new to all this (kamailio..) I am trying to set up the following: 1. Kamailio with web-gui -> done 2. Asterisk / elastix for connecting to sip-provider / PSTN-> done This works perfectly incoming / outgoing 3. Connecting elastix/asterix to kamailio -> done I already have extensions configured on kamailio. They can call each other perfectly. Now I do need a route-config or dialplan that routes ALL outgoing calls for all extensions to the Extension of the asterisk/elastix-machine. Is that possible and if so, how ? I do need to provision more than a few hundred sip-subscribers in the near future so connecting Them using just asterisk is not an option.. uac_auth()

Greetings, When I use uac_auth() in a failure route in this manner: if(t_check_status("407")) { uac_auth(); append_branch(); t_relay(); } or the reverse order vis-a-vis uac_auth() and append_branch(), I do not see any digest authentication headers being inserted into the retransmitted INVITE request. Also, CSeq is not being incremented. This is Kamailio 3.0.2. Can't build kamailio on fresh debian squeezy

Hello all, After debian squeeze upgrade (as well as in new squeeze installation) it is impossible to build kamailio. All dep. packages were installed and I successfully done this task before. Does anybody have same problem ? Is there any solution ? Part of the build log is shown below. Help need on NAT_Traversal

Hi All, I'm building a video conference system with the kamailio and the video AS. The network is as below: UAC(behind NAT) ------ kamailio(public IP) ------ AS (public IP) I have setup the basic kamailio and the SIP signaling can reach the AS and the call can be established. Now the time to setup the NAT traveral since the UACs are behind the NAT. Since it's video scenario, I don't want the kamailio as the RTPproxy so try to use the NAT_Traversal module. >From the module doc, NAT_Traversal needs the Dialog module as well. Have no idea on how to load these two modules and the route config required although have readed the module docs. Wondering if someone can help on the config for this scenario? All call with $rU=="0216666" is forwarded to the video AS as the route[CONF]. Thanks in advance!
