Hi, I installed kamailio v 3.1.6 rpm. I used the default configuration. Kamailio started. I have two clients one is an android phone using native sip client, and the other one x-lite. I can call x-lite to phone but not the other way around. When I restarted kamailio, I can call phone to x-lite but not the other way around. The first one I did when I restart kamailio will be the only leg that will be working, then I have to restart again if I want to do the reverse. Has anyone encountered this problem? How do I fix it? I'm on a LAN, kamailio server and the two clients are on the same LAN. Thanks, Jason

Can you write, what you mean by "load is failing"??? What issues do you have? What config do you use? Hi , I am working on Kamailio 4.0.1 We are trying load for presence subscribe with 1 cps(calls per second) using sipp , our setup is as below No of children in both proxy and presence server is 4 DB mode is 3 in presence server Expires is set to 3600 in subscribe request May I know how many cps is supported for presence? Please let me know why load is failing. CDR issue

Dear All, Greetings, I am working Kamailio (4.0.1) server with GUI package Siremis (4.0) of it. I was successful in get through Calls and SMS features in our VoIP phones using this kamailio sever. And now i am trying to get GUI for my kamailio server with SIREMIS (4.0.0) package. Installation was good as i am getting subscribers list in GUI which are in MySQL database. As it comes accounting section. i am Failed to get the CDR list when the call session between two clients have been done. I gone through Acc module's documentation and followed the following links to set up the accounting in GUI : http://kb.asipto.com/siremis:install40x:accounting. And i read this is description in accounting module documentation : 'Note that CDR generation does not involve any kind of database storage (yet). In order to persist the CDRs into a database you will have to set up an exterior process (i.e., a script living outside of Kamailio) and implement the storage task yourself'. So what does it mean ? should i have to install external process like CDR tool and Freeradius? Or is there any other way to get the CDR related information in GUI using database backend. Please find below my kamailio configuration file. By the way CDR data is logged to syslog fine, but i dont know where is wrong for database backend. Any help will greatly appreciate. SIP Server public domain issue

Hello, I am able to communicate with intranet SIP server and able to perform text chat / video & audio chat without issues. but it didnot work at all when i moved the same setup to public domain on centOS dedicated server and ubuntu servers. kamailio XCAP configuration in kamailio.cfg

Dear Sir, I have kamailio 4.0.2 installed with the websockets module and it is working fine.NoI dow I want to enable presence with XCAP.How can that.I have gone through the steps defined in http://kb.asipto.com/kamailio:presence:k31-made-simple. But I am little bit confused because both websocket and XCAP route configuration is using event_route[xhttp:request]. Pls help to modify kamailio.cfg file

UAC module fails to refresh registrations

Hello, I'm using the UAC module to register to remote sip proxies. When starting Kamailio, the UAC module successfully registers with the remote sip proxies as expected. Upon expiration of the registration (refresh interval) the UAC module fails to re-register. I've done some sip traces and found the following: During Kamailio startup the registration process is typical of what you'd expect: 1. UAC module sends registration request without authentication information to remote registrar 2. Remote sip proxy sends a 401 back to Kamailio saying unauthorized 3. UAC module sends another registration request with credentials and registration is complete. After the refresh interval expires, the UAC module performs step 1 from above, and the remote sip proxy sends back a 401 (step 2). At this point, the UAC module doesn't resend the registration request with credentials thus failing to register. I've got the following modparam's set on the UAC module. modparam("uac", "reg_contact_addr", "10.0.0.31:5060") modparam("uac", "reg_timer_interval", 60) modparam("uac", "reg_retry_interval", 300) Anyone have any idea's as to why registrations are failing after the refresh interval?

[Kamailio-Users] Error in Running kamailio !!

Dear Sir, I am using kamailio 1.5.0, having installed and configured as given on the kamailio site <http://www.kamailio.org/dokuwiki/doku.php/install:kamailio-1.5.x-from-svn> on my PC having Centos operating system. I have configured the config files kamailio.cfg, kamctlrc accordingly as given on site. when I start the kamailio using kamctl start command. it gives the error message like *[root@localhost ~]# kamctl start database engine 'MYSQL' loaded Control engine 'FIFO' loaded INFO: Starting Kamailio : ERROR: PID file /var/run/kamailio.pid does not exist -- Kamailio start failed *please* *help me out to solve this problem and suggest me where I am wrong. * *I have configured kamalio so many times it gives me the same kind of error message. * * - With Regards, Dinesh Kumar Gautam Noida, +919911838275
