My Presence module works fine with PUBLISH request, but not with SUBSCRIBE request. The trace shows as follows, the requestURI is the IP address of Presence module, and the request directly sends to presence server, I think there must be something wrong with the structure of SUBSCRIBE request. any one can point what is wrong will be helpful , Thank you!---------------Sending Request---------------PUBLISH sip:148.88.233.209:5065 SIP/2.0Call-ID: ef68e3acb55c2a4c791b1e31f7362b6f(a)148.88.232.101CSeq: 849 PUBLISHFrom: <sip:alice@148.88.232.101:5061>To: <sip:alice@148.88.232.101:5061>Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 148.88.232.101:5061;branch=z9hG4bK19953Max-Forwards: 70Expires: 3600Event: presenceContact: <sip:alice@148.88.232.101:5061>Content-Type: application/cpim-pidf+xmlContent-Length: 220<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?><presence xmlns="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:pidf" entity="pres:alice@open-ims.test"><tuple id="sip-client(java)"><status><basic>online</basic></status></tuple></presence>---------------Received Response---------------SIP/2.0 200 OKCall-ID: ef68e3acb55c2a4c791b1e31f7362b6f(a)148.88.232.101CSeq: 849 PUBLISHFrom: <sip:alice@148.88.232.101:5061>To: <sip:alice@148.88.232.101:5061>;tag=762c87025812f63000552d0e54932ab8.31c6Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 148.88.232.101:5061;branch=z9hg4bk19953Expires: 3590SIP-ETag: a.1184861600.3810.10Server: OpenSER (1.2.0-notls (i386/linux))Content-Length: 0---------------Sending Request---------------SUBSCRIBE sip:148.88.233.209:5065 SIP/2.0Call-ID: 5c280b2299c2834b7705dece8497ec2f(a)148.88.232.101CSeq: 20 SUBSCRIBEFrom: <sip:alice@148.88.232.101>To: <sip:bob@148.88.232.101>Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 148.88.232.101:5061;branch=z9hG4bK97556Max-Forwards: 70Expires: 3600Event: presenceContact: <sip:alice@148.88.232.101:5061>Content-Length: 0......

Hi,everyone.
Now I am using mediaproxy to solve NAT,and rtpproxy to
solve IPV6. When they are configured separately, each
can work correctly. However, if I configure them
together in one openser.cfg, they will conflict with
each other.
Have anyone solve IPV6 and NAT together?
Any advice will be appreciated!

I have gotten sipSpy setup on two systems, but I am not seeing any traffic.
I know that traffic is happening and that if I use ngrep I can see
traffic correctly.
The only thing I can think of is that my regexp expression isn't right.
My password file is
auser:badpass:admin:.*@foo.local
This should get me all messages with sip:baz@foo.local, but I'm not
seeing anything.
Should I just see INVITE sequences? Should I see registrations? Should
I see presence?
What am I missing?
thanks,
jon
Hi All,
Is there a way to choose which gateway i send the traffic to depending
on the dialed number?
e.g if 001XXXXXXXXX route to 10.10.10.1 and if 0065XXXXXXXXXX route it
to 10.10.10.2
is that possible?
thank you
regards,
nhadie
Dear OpenSER users,
I want to use OpenSER as a Presence Server.
Let me first describe my network; I am responsible from the network of a
Internet Telephony Service Company, and our customers generally use SIP
devices, sometimes softphones. What I want to do is also let my customers IM
each other.
I have a SIP Proxy as SCB and all my customers are registered there. What I
am trying to do is to redirect incoming SUBSCRIBE and PUBLISH packets coming
to my SIP Proxy to OpenSER and when OpenSER sends the NOTIFY packet back to
SIP Proxy, redirect it to the customer. I still could not manage to get the
NOTIFY packet from OpenSER but its not the main point here.
Main point is, will presence work with this scenario? Does OpenSER needs the
clients to be registered to itself to handle SUBSCRIBE packets? Or its just
enough for OpenSER to recieve SUBSCRIBE packets and response with NOTIFY
packets?
I will appreciate your ideas, thoughts and advices.
Thanks in advance.

I build Openser Presence module and it works well. The cfg file is the same content as shown on this website "http://uctimsclient.berlios.de/openser.cfg". I change the listen IP address, module path, and comment `loadmodule "registrar.so"`(coz I just want it work as a Presence AS). The problem is, I want to implement Presence by using a sip client(designed by Jain-1.2-NIST) to talk with Presence Module. As I said, the Presence AS doesn't have registrar module. It just works as Presence server with a open port 5065. If the sip client directly sends PUBLISH or SUBSCRIBE request(I'll deal with the structure of request) to the Presence AS, does the server response to the sip client with NOTIFY?Any hint would be helpful!!!CheersKevin,
