Are you talking about the amount of information u can see during a
normal SIP Operation ? I haven't been able to make them show up using
the normal method , so opted for a exec_msg way where i echo a message
with a global variable into my /var/log/syslog .
The steps are detailed here :

Sam

Subject: [Serusers] help!---how to see the debug information in detail
hi all,
The /var/log/messages only shows limited information.
Could anybody tell me how to see the debug information in detail?
Thanks!
I check the directory /var/log ,but have not found the file "syslog" and "debug".
How to record the bebug messages in these files?
Thanks a lot!

Try /var/log/syslog or /var/log/debug

We're an ISP on the point of deploying VoIP for SMB and SOHO, and we
want to implement some solution that allow an employee to pick up the
the phone, and dial some prefix to take our line and make long
distance calls via Internet. But also keep the capability to dial some
another prefix and make a local phone call via traditional carrier
(directly to PSTN).
I understand the ATA we decide to work with, must to have few FXO
ports to connect with FXS PBX ports.
May be it could be done with ATA FXS ports connected to PBX FXO ports.
Is that right? If so... what type of connection do you recommend? And
which equipment?
Thank you very much in advance.

Hi,
I tried to use uac module to authenticate my SER to an external SIP
provider. When I tried to call uac_auth(), I got: BUG:uac:uac_auth:
empty reply on picked branch.
Searching on this list, I found a patch on
http://lists.iptel.org/pipermail/serusers/2005-May/019806.html that fixed
that "bug". Ok, now I can authenticate with my SIP provider, but I can't
see BYE from calle (actually from this sip provider, i think).
Does anyone know how to fix this problem (is it a CSeq incrementation
problem?). Is there any other way to authenticate to this type of
service providers ? Anyone with success on this ?
Thank you.

Hi there
Has anyone a good way to add a P-asserted identity to the header before
sending it out to e.g. the PSTN?
Is it done with textops or avpops?
All help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I am running ser 0.9.3 and serweb 0.9.3 on a RH ES3
box. I have PHP 4.3.2-8 running. Now each time I try
to open the url for serweb, my httpd process crashes
(segmentation fault). The issue is related to php
since I can do a phpinfo.php and that works fine. So I
started putting a statement
die("I am here"); in the php code at various places to
see where httpd dies. It seems to happen in the file
page_controller.php in the function start() just at
the line
if ($this->check_perms_to_user){
I am not a php programmer and I have no clue what this
could be related to. Any help will be very
appreciated.
Dave
