[Serusers] DNS Resolution of SDP-"Connection Address" at SER

Hi Serusers, I have a problem with DNS resolution in SIP/SDP "Connection Information" / "ConnectionAddress". Maybe somebody can help me: In the network we use SIP-UAs that are integrated into ADSL-Modems from Allied Telesyn (AT RG 634). The SIP-client itself works OK. But when the unit is given a system-name in the configuration, it will always use its DNS-name instead of its IP-addr as "Connection Address" in the "Connection Information" in SDP in INVITE and corresponding OK messages. Now we want to add SIP-UAs that are NOT capable of resolving DNS-Names in the "Connection Address" field. Alle messages pass through SER of course and the SDP-part so far remains unchanged. Now my question to the list: Is there a simple way of forcing SER to do the DNS-resolution of in incoming message, put in the IP-address in "Connection Address" and forward it to the other UA? [Serusers] SER + MySql (beginner)

Hi, my name is Valerio and I'm from Brazil... I'm an beginning user of SER... Folders Structure: /usr/local/sbin/ -> ser and serctl. /usr/local/etc/ser/ser.cfg /usr/local/lib/ser/modules/ -> mysql.so, usrloc.so, *.so... /usr/local/mysql/bin/ -> mysqld_safe. /usr/lib/ -> libmysqlclient.so.10. Well... I'm using SER 0.8.14_linux_i386 and mysql-standard-4.1.12-pc-linux-gnu-i686. When I use "original" ser.cfg, SER runs ok... When I use mysql.so module i have problems and SER don't start... I initiate mysql: /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqld_safe & <enter> I initiate ser: /usr/local/sbin/serctl start <enter> (if load with original ser.cfg its ok! But when I enable access to MySql in ser.cfg don't run...) Somebody can help me? Hello serusers, Don't reply to mails i 've sent. I solved the problem by rewriting onreply_route[x] I add search for Contact-type instead of Contact-length because of SDP message is return with "200 OK". Hi This was my pseudo code, which I used CDRTool as a base, and then together with what serweb had I created a complete tool, since then I have changed it alot to do diff prices per customer type etc. As for tax scripts, thats just 17.5% here in the UK, if it varies youy can just add a field per rate defined Iqbal

Hello, According to ethereal sip_call file I have a problem with ser.cfg When callee reply status 200 OK to caller (line 14,15 of sip_call) with SIP/SDP message address:port are not good ? route(1) in ser.cfg push message with code 200 in mediaproxy!? [Serusers] Cisco ATA and SER

I am using Cisco ATA to register to a SER server . SER forwards to an Asterisk box. But the Cisco does not get any dialtone even if it registers. It works fine with Sipura. Can anyone share their CIsco and SER config with me. Thanks for your time. Ehsan

[Serusers] mediaproxy/rtp session

Hello serusers, I installed the lastest ser release (unstable) + mediaproxy on the same box and clients are behind nat. mediaproxy handle rtp session until idleTimeout = 60 according to mediaproxy.ini file. Status session is never "active". Is it bad command requests ? [Serusers] error when starting SER
