Folks,
Due to popular demand I've just made a new releases 0.5.1 and 0.4.9
of Radiusclient NG library, both of them include latest fixes to
make proper validation of incoming Radius replies.
Also I've created RELENG_0_4 branch just in the case we will need
to make some more fixes to 0.4.x series.
Therefore please make sure you are using the latest version before
reporting any bugs.

after reading the documentation it didn't become clear to me if openser
tm enhancement "proper serial forking" includes serial forking based on q
values, i.e., can i just make one t_relay() call and tm tries the
contacts in proper q value order.

I agree, openser should be working with the ser people instead of
forking it. Why is ser so stable? One of the reasons is that there
aren't new releases every month. These guys will create confusion.

I do not think openser is a good idea. This will only lead to further
confusion and interoperability problems vis-a-vis ser.cfg.
Why can't the openser guys invest their time and efforts to work with
ser people rather than forking on a new path?
It seems to me voice-systems.ro is trying to endorse itself by launching
openser.

hi all,
i have installed SER from src. using the commands
1) # make prefix=/ all
2) #make prefix=/ install
Now when i run SER , it shows me the different interfaces it is listening to .
But , when i try to register i get an ICMP destination port unreachable error.
I observe using
#netstat -l
that SER is not listening on any interface at port 5060. This (5060) port is not used by any other app .
Please let me know why is it so ? and how to set this right ?
best,
Amith
