Hello,
Does anybody know the status of iptel AA module?
If you go to the web site www.iptel.org/aa/, you can see that the
product is available under iptel's commercial license and the contact is
info(a)iptel.org. Problems is I tried twice to contact them and there is
no response.
What happen?
Regards,
TC Chan
(It is my first try, .... I am sure I make something wrong)
I have installed openser and it is now running for a while, ... today I
have added two users by:
export SIP_DOMAIN=voip.mydomain.com
openserctl add 800000 secret0 me(a)mydomain.com
openserctl add 800001 secret1 me(a)mydomain.com
first test:
openserctl ul show
Dumping all contacts may take long: are you sure you want to proceed?

Here it says domain: 'location' that sounds for me not correct,
shouldn't it be voip.mydomain.com ??
I use than a hard phone and set it up, but it cannot log on, ... I also
do not see anything happen, when I use openserctl moni
What have I done wrong?
BTW, I checked with serweb, and the user 800000 can login!

So... I've scoured the archives and can't find quite the answer I'm looking for.
I'd like to do caller ID in such a way that the 'Display Name' or, in sip
terms, comment portion of the From header, isn't displayed for ALL users (or
is displayed in a particular format for ALL users). I know I can use UAC to
rewrite a particular From tag in a particular way, but I haven't figured out
how to make those changes heuristically global.
For instance, I'd like a way to say that if the From tag looked like:
From: "Jimmy the Fish" <sip:11231234567@sip.domain.com>;tag=3905520531
I'd like to rewrite it to be either:
From: <sip:11231234567@sip.domain.com>;tag=3905520531
OR
From: "1-123-123-4567" <sip:11231234567@sip.domain.com>;tag=3905520531
Or some such. I'd like to have heuristic control, in that I'd rather not have
to have a UAC rewrite entry for each number. If it has to be done via a db
query, fine, but I don't get how to do that, either.
Any ideas?

Yes, but then how do we handle a situation where the server has fallen
over (happens sometimes) and then come back up, we check them but until
the UA sends another REGISTER we don't know where they are and can't get
incoming calls to that UA.
Maybe I can force the re-register period to be really small (5 seconds?)
Thanks for your help,
Patrick

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has asterisk voicemail working with the
default onsip feature forwarding script?...If so would it be possible to
post the relevant snippets?
Many thanks.
Aisling.

Hi,
I'd like to use monit to monitor ser. Sometime ser has the pid file,
but stops responding to any request. I want to periodically send an
OPTIONS message to the udp port 5060 and expects the answer back.
However can't make it work with monit.
The config is something like this,
check process program with pidfile /var/run/ser.pid
start program = "/etc/init.d/rc.serstart"
stop program = "/etc/init.d/rc.serstop"
if failed port 5060 type udp
send "OPTIONS sip:test@........"
expect "SIP/2.0 200 OK"
with timeout 2 seconds
then alert
I can see the reply with ngrep. But monit still reports "connection
failed". Any suggestion?
Thanks,
Richard
Is posible to send data using the MESSAGE pirmitive?
Can i use the content-tipe to set oter content types in the MESSAGE?
I need to send data throug a SIP server, not opening a new conexion.
Can any one help me?
Hello,
How can I set timeout for BYE command when connection will be terminated
(reset computer eg.).
In acc table is only INVITE+ACK, but not BYE command.
Failure route is:
failure_route[1] {
if (t_check_status("487")) {
break;
};
if (isflagset(26) && t_check_status("486")) {
if (avp_pushto("$ruri", "s:fwdbusy")) {
avp_delete("s:fwdbusy");
resetflag(26);
route(6);
break;
};
};
if (isflagset(27) && t_check_status("408")) {
if (avp_pushto("$ruri", "s:fwdnoanswer")) {
avp_delete("s:fwdnoanswer");
resetflag(27);
route(6);
break;
};
};
