Hi Tjapko,
Im also having some problems to make mediaproxy work. I had SER working
without problems, but I want to try with more NAT support (mediaproxy). Can
you please send me a working ser.cfg?
Thanks,
Luis

Hello all,
Have any one setup SIP srv records in Red Hat Linux 9.0 to work with SER.
I tried adding a SIP UDP based srv record in the zone file but when SER queries for the SRV record the DNS is replying not found even though it is available in the zone file.
I am using Bind 9x.

Hi,
I've teste the eyebeam (of course licenced) and it works well inn
peer-to-peer mode. (bypassing the pa module actually)
Some earlier mails in the list mentioned that there will be some patches
for the PA module so that you can use the pa module for eyebeam as well.

for linux: kphone -- I do not know how compliant it is but will be
usefully to learn :-) -- for IM is pretty good.

Hi,
Does anyone know any good standard SIP presence and messenger client? I
tried a few, none of them are good.
ms windows messenger: proprietary implementation
JAIN IM client: only talk to its presence server, not ser
phonegaim for windows: can't even start on my windows
Also anyone tried the pa module? I always get error message from the
function handle_subscription() with every sip UA I tried. I understand that
xten sends a big patch for the PA module. Is there any time frame to merge
it into cvs. If it takes long, is it possible to post it to the public and
we can try it out? Thanks!
Thanks,
Richard
Hi All.
I have a question regaring multiple location records. When a user has two SIP phones registered
there are cooresponding records in the location table.
I'm implementing call forwarding and have run in to a problem whereby the forwarding number does
indeed ring, but so does one of the other registered SIP phones.
So it seems that SER reads the location table via lookup("location") and it generates one INVITE
message for each location record that was found.
Can I easily prevent this from happening, because I am simply going to forward the caller to
another number?
Regards,
Paul

Hello,
I've just started to use SER. I need some help from you. I have
following questions:
1. Does SER support TLS?
2. How to turn on SIP log so that I can see SIP message flows?
3. When SER received Register request, I saw error from SER: "Received
SIP_msg. No mem for the SIP_msg". Can some one please tell me what the
problem is and how to resolve the problem?
Thanks and regards,
Mary
Hello,
I have installed the ser version 0.8.14 and I try to activate the
presence function.
I don't know how SER could process PUBLISH requests. I have read some
messages
about handle_publish call but this function is unknow from my pa.so
module. I can only
use successfully handle_subscription function in my ser.cfg file.
Thanks for anyone help.
Hello SER users!
I am really struggling to get T.38 fax working when the UA (Sipura SPA
2000) is behind a firewall. My normal methods of employing nathelper
and rtpproxy have proven fruitless.
I think one of the issues is that the receiving gateway sends a reinvite
back to SER; two in fact. I'm not sure I'm handling them properly.
Has anyone have a sample config that is working for this dilemna? I'd
sure appreciate a visual pointer or two.
Thanks,
Jac
Hi everybody, I'm a ser newbie and I really confused about all the ser
information that is published at the different WEB sites. I began to
read some of them and it is quite difficult for me (my software
development background is really poor) to understand it.
I would like to know which are the main differences between nathelper,
rtpproxy and mediaproxy (I'm talking about features) ?
I want to deploy a IP Telephony solution over the Internet and most of
the end users are going to be behind a NAT or a Firewall with DYNAMIC
Public IP addresses. Which module or program fits better for it?
Where can I find the most complete or detailed information about SER
configurations? Is there a book that we can order?
Thanks a lot I really apprecitte your time to answer my questions.
