Hi Miconda, We are using Kamailio 5.0.2 right now. We want to use recently introduced db_redis for location queries. So, can you confirm please when kamailio 5.2 stable (with db_redis) will be released (rough expectation).

5.1 was released about three months ago. We usually have like 6-8 months timeframe for development, then 1-2 months for testing, before a new major release. That means the 5.2 should be out somewhere in autumn.
However, I expect that db_redis module works fine if copied into source tree of kamailio 5.1 -- you will have to do that on your local clone of 5.1 source tree.

as discussed in our last IRC developer meeting - the anticipated date for the release of 5.2 should be in end of October or beginning of November 2018. It depends a bit on the testing period, how many bugs are found etc..
If you need to have it faster, as mentioned an option would be to use the current stable release in branch 5.1 and import the db_redis module there.
