indeed, app_mono depends on libmono v2, if that's missing on squeeze, the module cannot be compiled there.

In wheezy it build fine whith these libs:

ii libmono-2.0-1 2.10.8.1-3 ii libmono-2.0-dev 2.10.8.1-3
