I know, this don't really reflect the state of the git repository, but i wanted to add it temporarly that i can remove my kamailio svn trunk repository.

By the way, it is possible to migrate files from svn to git with full history. We have been trying to preserve the history of both projects in the git repository with Andrei, so I would suggest that we do it for other files as well.
It does not really matter with simple files such as the changelog, but for more complicated files with convoluted history it would be useful to have the history in git.
I'll try to put a simple description in the wiki later today.
