i read log_custom readme and found statement:
It requires that core parameters log_engine_type to be set to 'udp' and
log_engine_data to be set to target 'address:port'.
but did not find these params in core cookbook.

Indeed, looks like I forgot adding them there at the time of coding - I
have just added.
